Q: What is the typical sample turnaround time? A: For routine analyses, our usual response time is 5 days or less. Work may be expedited for priority, same day or next day service. An expedite fee may apply.
Q: How are results reported? A: An electronic copy of the official report will be emailed or faxed to all recipients for whom contact information is provided. The hard copy version will follow via US mail.
Q: How much and what kind of sample do we need? A: For gases, we prefer solid samples but we also routinely analyze powders. Three to five grams is usually sufficient and in many cases we can analyze smaller samples. For example, we can analyze nickel-titanium alloy samples as small as 0.01 to 0.04 grams for hydrogen content using our vacuum hot extraction procedure. We recommend that you call or E-mail to inquire about capabilities for low weight samples.
Q: How do I open an account? A: Luvak Inc. accepts company purchase orders, MasterCard and Visa. The first purchase order usually will open an account. All purchasing contact information and appropriate purchase documentation may accompany the samples or may be submitted to our office via phone, email or fax. Payment terms are net 30.
